Paul McCartney - The Beatles - Free Drum Samples

Ringo was not the only Beatle who recorded drums on their albums, Paul also played skins on 4 songs while Ringo was in disagreement with the band, or while being a movie star.  This is not a Ringo hating post, but just an interesting sample collection. Included is a small sample set of a kick, snare, two toms, and a break beat of Paul McCartney playing drums on some Beatles tunes, in .zip format.  All samples are from "Back in the USSR" and "Wild Honey Pie."

1969 Ludwig Supraphonic Free Drum Samples

I have had a 1969 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum since I was 10 years old.  It is my favorite drum, and I never lend it out.  I set it up in my living room the other day, and put 8 different microphones on it and recorded bunches of 24bit/48k samples. This sample kit includes a wide variety of soft hits, loud hits, rim shots, snares on, snares off, and clicks.  I bounced the samples with different combos of microphone combinations to give a variety of tones.  The following pack consists of over 35 samples, handcrafted with love, by me.  Long live the Ludwig Supraphonic.
