Paul McCartney - The Beatles - Free Drum Samples
Ringo was not the only Beatle who recorded drums on their albums, Paul also played skins on 4 songs while Ringo was in disagreement with the band, or while being a movie star. This is not a Ringo hating post, but just an interesting sample collection. Included is a small sample set of a kick, snare, two toms, and a break beat of Paul McCartney playing drums on some Beatles tunes, in .zip format. All samples are from "Back in the USSR" and "Wild Honey Pie."

The Free John Bonham Drum Sample Project
There have been isolated drum tracks from the recording of the Led Zeppelin album "In Through the Out Door" floating around on the interwebs for many years now. From what I can tell, most are unused takes and portions of overdubs. Salad Records archieves the mp3 versions on their site. I have took these tracks and cut out usable single hit drums as well as a set of break beat style samples. There are 18 single drum licks (most with multiple drums present) and 15 breakbeats for you to screw and chop. Everyone could use a Bonham crash or snare on their tracks from time to time. 16bit 44.1k .wav files in .zip format. RIP and Long Live John Bonham.
